On May 23, 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice, along with 30 state and district attorneys general, filed a federal lawsuit against Live Nation, accusing it of monopolistic practices that limit competition and inflate ticket prices. The ShinyHunters group, active since 2020, has been involved in multiple high-profile data breaches across various industries, making this latest incident part of a broader pattern of cybercrime.
